Heading in the Right Direction
2016 World Series Sprintcars Drivers Champion Jamie Veal feels the team is now heading in the right direction after his A-Main wins at Premier Speedway Warrnambool and Timmis Speedway Mildura on Saturday and Sunday Nights.
Veal had been frustrated with recent performances in the SWI Engineering 35 but walked away with a smile after taking out the Col Beasley 410 Sprintcar Classic on Sunday Night at Mildura and the A-Main the previous night.
Jamie described his wins as a ‘pretty decent weekend’ claiming it felt good to get back to the top step of the podium. “The track took rubber pretty early at Mildura in the 27 lap Col Beasley, I had to drive the car with some finesse to get to the chequer ahead of Robbie Farr and Ryan Jones”. Jamie said. "We're not at 100% but we're getting close."
