Are the words that come to mind for James McFadden on how best to describe last season and his World Series Sprintcar results.

“On so many levels we had a great season, we were a new team who gelled perfectly and achieved some great things.” McFadden said reflecting on his 2016-2017 season and World Series campaign.

McFadden returns to World Series Sprintcars as defending champion, campaigning Maxim Chassis’ powered by KRE of Brisbane. The team will again wear the familiar colours of Milwaukee Tools with Race Engineer being Kim Buswell and crewman Ray Hornby.

“I’m simply looking forward to the competition of World Series Sprintcars, we are comfortable as a team, so it’s about racing at some great venues across the country in Australia’s toughest National Sprintcar competition.” James said.

Add to his mix is the experienced gained during a recent and successful USA tour. Highlighted by a win in the World of Outlaws at Williams Grove, McFadden has a lot to draw from in his title defence. The results of last season, his winter success combine to conclude he has enjoyed a successful season.
Emotionally, James did enjoy being part of the equation that scored a series of firsts for Monte Motorsports. “It was special to return to the pits or the infield and see you team already celebrating, it was a super awesome time.” McFadden said.

McFadden is looking forward to competing WSS with renewed vigor. “It’s great so many teams are going to experience what has become WSS, The Challenge, The Emotion , The Glory and the Passion they will encounter will be life changing.”
